1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Ratio ("the Service"), a product of Nova Media LLC, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

Ratio is a social platform where users submit opinions ("takes") that are scored and judged by an automated system known as The Judge. Users can react to, reply to, and share takes. The platform is designed for entertainment and social engagement.

3. User Conduct

You agree not to:

  • Post content that harasses, threatens, or targets individuals
  • Post illegal, defamatory, or obscene content
  • Spam, manipulate, or abuse the platform or its scoring system
  • Impersonate other users or entities
  • Attempt to disrupt or compromise the Service

Ratio reserves the right to remove content and suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms at our sole discretion.

4. Your Content

You retain ownership of the content you post on Ratio. By posting content, you grant Nova Media LLC a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, display, reproduce, and distribute your content in connection with operating and promoting the Service.

5. The Judge

The Judge is an automated scoring and commentary system. All scores, verdicts, and commentary are generated for entertainment purposes only and do not represent the views or opinions of Nova Media LLC. Scores are not an endorsement or condemnation of any viewpoint.

6. Pro Subscription

Ratio Pro is available for $1.99 per month. Your subscription renews automatically each month until cancelled. You may cancel at any time through your account settings or payment provider. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. No refunds are provided for partial billing periods.

7. Appeals

Users may appeal a verdict from The Judge for a one-time fee of $0.99 per take. Appeal outcomes are final. The appeal fee is non-refundable regardless of the outcome.

8. No Guarantee of Service

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available." We do not guarantee uninterrupted access, accuracy of scores, or preservation of content. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time without notice.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Nova Media LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of the Service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you have paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim.

10. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
